Mission to Myanmar – June 14-15, 2016

After a historic election won by Aung San Suu Kyi’s National League of Democracy, the new government of Myanmar has taken power as of April 1. As the new government begins to implement its plans, the EABA is planning a business mission to Myanmar for ASEAN CEOs, senior business leaders, and APAC GR Directors to meet with senior government officials, contribute input, and become involved in shaping policies.

This Business Mission will take place immediately prior to The Economist Myanmar Summit 2016 on June 16. The conference will gather senior government officials, business leaders, academics and heads of multilaterals to explore Myanmar’s most pressing and timely issues. For interested delegates, the EABA has arranged for a special rate for them to attend this conference, with a 40 percent discount from standard ticket rates.

The EABA is also pleased to extend this invitation to non-members who are taking part in our business missions for the first time, in order to represent the full and broad spectrum of European interests in the country.
